Bio Info
Brown Tarantulas are commonly found in the southern United States.
They live in burrows that they excavate themselves or utilize holes dug by other
animals. They often line the entrances to their dens with silk and stretch out a few
lines around the open to help them detect prey that might be passing by. Most of the
specimens observed away from their dens while crawling across back roads or in open
fields are males in search of prey or a mate.
